Huh? It’s a pretty clearly dogleg 5 speed. Or did I miss the /s?

Pretty cool to see one of these come up since they made so few, even if it is basically a body kit on a Diablo. Vector was a total cluster of a company at the time after the Megatech takeover and it is amazing any of these made it into the wild at all to be honest. I don’t think more than 20 were made, and I’d be shocked if more than 10 running ones were still in existence. $170k seems a bit high, but they were in several video games in the 90's so there might be a nostalgia factor for buyers who remember those. I always loved the looks of the M12, but the W8 was way more insane and a much more interesting car.

No reverse gear?

Reverse it is at the top left. It’s a dogleg so 1 is bottom left. It is in 1 in in the photo. Look close and you’ll see there are gates for 3 and 5 next to it. And 2 and 4 are up top. The car is just a rebadged Diablo (yes this was an incredibly weird arrangement but was the 90's) so I’m guessing it used a transmission that was also in the Diablo at the time. Here’s a photo from a ‘91 Diablo. They kept this 5-speed around in some versions at least until ‘97 when the M12 came out. Note the shift pattern - appears to be the same as the M12 in the auction.
